The\nterritorial Police in Kamengo, raided a shrine at Masazi village, kamengo\nsub-county, in Mpigi District and arrested Magambo Musa alias Mulangira Musoga\nover allegations that he sexually assaulted two female siblings and impregnated\nthem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This\noccurred during the month of August, 2019, when the two victims visited his\nshrine for traditional cleansing and healing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nsuspect lured them at night on several occasions and repeatedly had unlawful\ncarnal knowledge with them, claiming he was inserting traditional medicine into\ntheir bodies. He convinced them, that the act was a form of treatment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nvictims, who are 16 and 18 years respectively, are both pregnant for the\nsuspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\ncondemn such acts of would-be-helpers, who betray the trust, given to them by\nvulnerable victims but instead end up abusing them,\u201d said Police spokesperson\nFred Enanga before adding that; \u201cWe have dispatched our counsellors from the\nChild and Family division, to try and take the victims through some form of\ncounselling about their condition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe\ninvestigators are trying to reconstruct and document the scenes of crime, trace\nfor incriminating evidence and send the file to the DPP. We will do everything\nwithin our means to ensure justice prevails in this case.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
