President\nMuseveni has urged the members of public more especially residents of Nakaseke\nto stop voting for leaders who can’t address their issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Museveni\nmade the remarks during his trek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Museveni blamed the residents for electing\n\u2018useless leaders like Nakaseke South Member of Parliament Ssemakula Lutamaguzi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNakaseke\n[South] made a mistake and sent in a young man called Lutamaguzi. You sent this\nuseless young man [to Parliament]. Lutamaguzi, that young man is useless, so\nthat is your own mistake,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Museveni\nsaid slow development in their areas are frustrated by the opposition Member of\nParliament noting that Ssemakula is the reason his area is still devoid of\nservices such as clean water supply and electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Museveni\nurged locals to always elect and work with leaders that can work with\ngovernment for easy service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A\nnumber of issues and challenges were presented to the president and he pledged\nto address them with immediate effect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Semuto\nSub-county chairperson in Nakaseke District, Ismail Kasozi, demanded that the\nsecondary school that the President had previously pledged be fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPresident\nI hereby request that you honour your promises. You promised to give us a\nsecondary school in Kilema Village but we have never seen it since the war\nended. It has never been built,\u201d Mr Kasozi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kasozi also asked Museveni to increase the packages\nallotted to locals in the Operation Wealth Creation so that it benefits more people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
