The\nAruu County Member of Parliament, Hon Odonga Otto has said that Kyadondo East Member\nof Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine is an\namateur in politics therefore he should forget about becoming the president of\nUganda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nsaid that Bobi Wine is not well conversant with national issues for him to take\nup the leadership of this country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nmade the remarks while appearing on one of the local television stations on\nMonday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I had a one-on-one with Bobi Wine. I wanted\nto know what was in his mind. I think he is not yet ready to be President. We\ntalked monetary policy, Fiscal policy to see whether would go left or right. I\nasked what he would do for the pharmaceutical industry,” he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Otto noted that after testing the mind and thinking capacity of Bobi Wine, the legislator can’t be the president of this country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nnoted that he got disappointed on the way the Bobi Wine who is seeking to be\nthe president on this country responded to some of his questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Personally,\nif I were President, I would close private pharmacies, pay all doctors Shs20m\nand make government hospitals viable. Government can’t compete with private but\nHe (Bobi Wine) can’t even see either side†he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nstressed that Bobi Wine is an amateur politician. “It is a very risky\nbusiness for anyone to think that Bobi Wine can be President though he is very popular.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nsaid it’s another sure win for President Yoweri Museveni come 2021 general\nelections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“If\nI place a barometer on the ground, President Museveni will rig election\nmassively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In\nmy village, DISOs, RDCs and all are deployed. rigging isn’t actual\nticking,” he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nsaid though Bobi Wine will put a tough resistance in the coming general\nelections, this will not stop President Museveni from winning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“So, I see Museveni declared winner, I am\nnot saying, I see him winning. Status quo will continue and I know Bobi Wine\nwill put a stiff resistance,†he noted <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nsaid Bobi Wine should seek advice and also learn from the former presidential candidate Dr Kizza\nBesigye who has been in the struggle for quite a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“He\nseemed to have not learned from Besigye. He is doing the same thing Besigye\ndid. It’s not a nice thing but he needs to be encouraged,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
