{"id":12933,"date":"2019-12-30T12:21:33","date_gmt":"2019-12-30T09:21:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=12933"},"modified":"2019-12-30T12:21:37","modified_gmt":"2019-12-30T09:21:37","slug":"mps-luttamaguzi-and-betty-nambooze-awarded-for-standing-with-the-oppressed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2019\/12\/30\/mps-luttamaguzi-and-betty-nambooze-awarded-for-standing-with-the-oppressed\/","title":{"rendered":"MPs Luttamaguzi And Betty Nambooze Awarded For Standing With The Oppressed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0 Nantional Coordinator of Uganda whistle blowers Association Musa Majoba\u00a0 has managed to deliver two awards for two awards for the members of parliament\u00a0 as an appreciation for standing with oppressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These legislators include, Betty\u00a0 Bakireke Nambooze\u00a0 of Mukono municipality and Paulson Luttamaguzi Ssemakula of Nakaseke South\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nambooze\u00a0 was given an award\u00a0 of the most outstanding human rights activist in the year of 2019 while Luttamaguzi Semakula was awarded for the outstanding effort in exposing corruption in the year 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those awards where awarded to them by an American based association called Uganda whistle blowers Association under their CEO Mr Musa Majoba<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Majoba congratulated the MPs for such tremeduous effort of representing the voiceless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He noted that it&#8217;s the duty for every elected leader to fight for his people in the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I take this opportunity to congratulate them and to encourage them to put more efforts to condemn human trafficking plus corruption,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0 Nantional Coordinator of Uganda whistle blowers Association Musa Majoba\u00a0 has managed to deliver two awards for two awards for the members of parliament\u00a0 as an appreciation for standing with oppressed.
