The\noutgoing archbishop of Uganda the Right Reverend Stanley Ntagali has said that\ncorruption is just a symptom but the real cause is greed and self-centredness\nthat must be tackled with immediate effect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recently\nNtagali took part in the walk against corruption because of his conviction that\nthe country must actively rise up and address the issue of greed and\nself-centeredness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Corruption\nis a symptom but is not the real core of the thing; we are currently handling\nas a country, we need to deal with greed and self-centeredness,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ntagali\nmade the remarks at the arrangements for his farewell party and the instalment\nof Archbishop, Right Reverend Steven Kazimba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nother concerns Ntagali feels should be addressed are domestic violence, pornography,\nhuman trafficking among others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nsaid the issues regarding abortion, premarital sex among others should also be\naddressed as a country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nsaid the church is pretty much cognizant and concerned about the increasing\nmurders and child sacrifice in the country calling upon authority’s immediate\nintervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I\ncall upon all those who are concerned, the police to take the law very\nseriously so that all these mischiefs in our motherland are resolved amicably.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nfurther revealed that the church is against the United Nations’ pro-abortion\nagenda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A\ncommittee headed by the government Chief whip and deputised by Gen Edward\nKatumba Wamala is at the centre of preparation to bid farewell to Ntagali and\ninstall the archbishop elect, Kazimba<\/p>\n\n\n\n
