Kampala\nMetropolitan Police has apprehended a city bar owner identified as Deus\nBakankwatsa who allegedly killed his customer after a slight misunderstanding\nand altercation at his bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nbar is identified as Unique meeting Bar located in Ntinda a Kampala suburb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deus\nBakankwatsa is also accused by his employees of always beating them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Isaac\nKintu, an eye witness narrated that the deceased was drunk and she started\nundressing herself and that is when one of the men who were in the bar hit her\nwith a pool cue and she fell down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\nhit the lady with a cue like four times \nbecause for me I was there when\nthe boss came he found the guy fighting with the lady and that is when the boss\nstarted slapping and kicking the lady around the stomach until she fell down unconsciously, she never woke up again\u201d Kintu\nexplained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another\neye witness explained that; “This is not the first time for the owner of\nthe bar to beat people. There is one man who was beaten seriously and after he\npicked a hoe and bragged that even if he cuts his head nothing could happen to\nhim. The bar owner is a violent man who is always beating up his employees.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nKampala metropolitan police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed the incident\nsaying the operator of the bar tried to block the deceased from accessing the\nplace that is where the trouble started from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut\ninstead she refused and started undressing. When she started undressing, so one\nof the bar attendants called Galabuzi got a pool table cue and started beating\nher,” he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Onyango also revealed that later on another operator also came and started kicking the lady several times until she unconsciously fell down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
