The Dp block has urged president Museveni to dismiss\u00a0 the minister of health Dr. Ruth Aceng following the controversy around recently concluded Rubella measles immunization noting that there are many things which didn’t go well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The call was made during the press conference that was held at\u00a0the party headquarters in Kampala on Tuesday, Samuel Walter Lubega a Dp block member expressed his fear citing some mishaps in the recently concluded\u00a0mass measles and rubella immunisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“She should be sacked as the minister of health with immediate effect, the Democratic Party is calling upon government, and\u00a0 the president to sack her\u00a0with immediate effect,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also added that the same ministry\u00a0called for Cuban doctors when Ugandan doctors went on strike which was unbecoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also commented on the forth coming elections noting that some of the organisers are partisan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0“RDCs have been put in charge, it can’t be fair but with European Union taking up this matter with the president and we encouraging all other people including UN to force him to accept people demands about electoral reforms,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
