The\nleader of Tabliq sect, Sheikh Yahya Mwanje has tasked government to resolve the\nincreasing murder, violence and unlawful detention of innocent Ugandans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nalso urged government to put more effort in fighting corruption in all\ngovernment institutions noting that corruption has frustrated development in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nmade the remarks while presiding over Eid prayers at Nikivubo Blue primary\nschool in Kampala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sheik\nYahya Mwanje who read the sermon noted that government should use its authority\nto end the increasing violence, murders and unlawful detention and corruption in\nthe country before the situation worsens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nsaid the widespread of corruption has crippled their efforts towards meeting\nset targets and obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur\nleaders should device all the possible means to stop violence, murders, corruption;\nthey have the capacity to handle all these issues,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nsaid that the nation is grieving towards the continuous shed of blood, loss of\nlives and corruption in all government sectors which will have negative effects\ntowards development and prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEven\nif we are not related to these people being murdered, these people are\nUgandans, therefore we ask government to find all possible solutions of bringing\nsmile on the faces of the people of Uganda,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nappealed to all the Muslims across the country to refrain from all acts of\ncorruption noting that such acts are not accepted in Islam besides can lead to poor\nservice delivery in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAllah\ncurses those that involve themselves in corruption because corruption has adverse effects on the on economy of the\ncountry, making a country to lose, people to lose,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nasked Muslims to work hard and avoid begging money from government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGovernment\nshould not give us money, it should put in place favourable conditions that can\nfavour people to work in order improve on their welfare,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nasked Muslims to join politics come 2021 so that they are not left out when\nsharing the national cake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nmayor of Makindye division, Ali Mulyanyama asked the government to improve on\nthe health standards noting that lot of money is wasted in celebrating some\nevents which are useless to the people of Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGovernment\nis wasting money on events celebrations such as independence, labours day; that\nmoney should be injected in the health sector,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nnoted that Muslims should lobby for forgiveness and the release of their fellow\nMuslims detained in prisons including Sheikh Jamilu Mukulu and Sheikh Yunus\nKamoga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nfurther added that former MP Kipoi was arrested but released on bail noting\nthat he won’t fear to plead for Muslim brothers since government one time\nwanted to forgive the leader of Lord Resistance Army (LRA) Joseph Kony.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
