President Yoweri Museveni has met with the United Nations\nSpecial Envoy for the Great Lakes Region, Mr. Huang Xia and his delegation at\nKisozi in Gomba District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The President and his guests discussed on the\nlatest developments in the economic, social and political sectors of the\ncountries in the Great Lakes\u2019 Region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Huang appreciated President Museveni\u2019s efforts\nof always advocating for peace in the region and for his continued effort to\npromote peace process in neighbouring South Sudan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Museveni stressed the need for Africa to integrate adding that it was the only way for the continent to survive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEconomic integration aims at four stages; the customs union, common market, monetary union and ultimately political federation.
