The\nKatikkiro of Buganda Kingdom, Charles Peter Mayiga has urged men to always\nrespect and protect the dignity of their wives before the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere\nare men I hear these days who disrespect their wives before the public, utter\nall the filthy statements about their wives and yet they should have acted\nexemplary to society, it\u2019s so absurd,\u201d he noted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mayiga\nstated that any man with a sound mind should fight hard to protect the image of\nhis wife before the public than shaming her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t\nallow even a friend to disrespect your wife, if you are a man of dignity and\nintegrity you cannot allow such to happen to your wife,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nnoted that the reason why most girls and women fear to marry in this generation,\nis because of men who go in different\npublic places and discuss issues about their wives which is unprofessional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nalso urged women to take full responsibility of their homes more especially\npromoting cleanliness and the organization of their houses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA\ngood family is not about giving birth to many children; some women do not know\nhow to cook. A right woman should observe all what is required of her,\u201d he\nnoted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nnoted that the only way to overcome all the challenges in marriage is to device\npossible legal means to solve the matter than running to the public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd\nthe difference between success and failing is really the difference between\nthose who are able to take decisions when it matters and those who fail to take\ndecisions,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nnoted that the general life is not a smooth ride and the married couple should\nexpect challenges in their marriages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
