Uganda’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martin Okoth Ochola promoted 9312 subordinate officers, a promotion that took effect at the start of the month.
According to a brief statement issued by Polly Namaye, the Deputy Police Spokesperson, “These promotions were based on a number of requirements including Seniority, Record of work, Acting position, Exemplary Performance such as in operations and executing given tasks, and Discipline record.”
