‘PER DIEM’: Ugandans Question Why ‘Entire Cabinet’ Travelled For Dubai Expo Instead of Sellable Products

On Sunday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) treated Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni to a warm reception as it celebrated Uganda Day at the Dhbai Expo 2020.

President Museveni arrived in the UAE on Saturday to take part in the prestigious trade Expo that has 190 countries participating including Uganda.

Museveni’s delegation to the UAE includes ministers and other officials, something that has led a section of Ugandans questioning why almost the whole cabinet travelled to Dubai.

It is not clear how many ministers are in Dubai.

Some have also queried the products at Uganda’s pavilion.
