Gulu Boda boda Cyclist Is First Recipient Of ‘Nabbanja Money’

Godfrey Oloya, a boda-boda rider in Gulu is the first recipient of UGX 100,000 from the COVID-19 relief package.

Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja called him after sending the money to acknowledge receipt.

“Hallo, this is Hon Nabbanja, the Prime Minister of Uganda. Have you received money on your phone?” Nabbanja asked before Oloya confirmed receipt of the message on his phone.

She cautioned beneficiaries on the use of the money saying “That money should be used to buy food not beer.”
