Alupo Confirmed As VP, Vows To Work With All

Vice President Jessica Alupo has promised to work with all Ugandans across the political divide.

Alupo made the remarks on Monday, while delivering her acceptance speech following parliament approval of her post as VP.

“I promise to work with Ugandans of all political shades. The time for politicking is over, let’s get back to work,” Alupo said.

She also promised to work closely with the media in execution of her duties.

Alupo is also District Woman Representative for Katakwi. She is a retired army officer at the rank of Major. She is a former Minister of Education.
