Kawempe North Member of Parliament, Muhammad Ssegirinya is taking his new found career seriously.
Mr Updates as he is fondly known, has shared photos of himself buried and reading the constitution of the Republic of Uganda as he tries to be updated with the law.
As lawmaker, Ssegirinya will need to have his knowledge updated as business in the floor of Parliament is largely conducted by quoting from the sovereign book.
Ssegirinya will also need knowledge from the constitution to battle a court case challenging his position as MP.
He has been off drama in the past month, partly due to a yet to be identified ailment he suffered after leaving Kitalya Prison where he has been booked for holding an unlawful demonstration.
The MP was protesting the continues detention of NUP supporters.
