City Lawyer Male Mabirizi who has recently gained fame for petitioning and challenging every big news in the country, is at it again.
The lawyer is now demanding documents pertaining to the recruitment of Don Wanyama as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of media establishment, Vision Group
Wanyama was recently confirmed as the new CEO of the group and is et to begin work at the start of next month,
However, Mabirizi argues that since Vision Group is a public, he is requesting for information with the Access to Information Act as his basis to demand documentation in the appointment of Don Wanyama as CEO.
He also claims that Wanyama has been a ‘propagandist’ of President Museveni and is suspicious that corruption, influence peddling could have been at play as the former was appointed.
Wanyama has been serving as Senior Presidential Press Secretary.
Although his many petitions and lawsuits usually yield nothing, it waits to be seen whether he will succeed with this latest challenge.
