There were shacking, dramatic scenes at ALL Saints Cathedral on Tuesday after relatives of fallen controversial lawyer, Bob Kasango made off with his body.
In a clip that this publication has seen, a pick up lorry is seen driving off from the gate of All Saints Cathedral with the coffin containing the remains of the deceased lawyer who passed on at Luzira Prison where he was incarcerated.
Mourners had gathered at the Church to pay their last respects.
Kasango succumbed to heart failure over the weekend. He was serving a 16-year jail sentence for fraud.
There is a dispute about where he should be laid to rest with his relatives from Tororo district demanding that the be buried in their home area while his widow wants him buried in Kabarole district where she hails.
His relatives from Tororo reportedly hired the pick up truck to smuggle the body away from the church as the funeral service went on.
Latest reports indicate that they have been intercepted.
