Bobi Wine To Address Ugandans Today

National Unity Platform president, and 2021 Presidential election loser Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi famously knowns as Bobi Wine has said that he will address Ugandans today at 5pm.

“Greetings fellow Ugandans. Today at 5PM, I will be addressing you live here on Facebook,” said Bobi Wine in a Facebook post.

Bobi Wine has not been allowed to leave his home for the past 9days and his home in Magere home is being guarded by police and other security forces.

In the 9 days of home arrest, Bobi Wine has only been allowed to be visited by his lawyers who in the past days filed a petition in high court challenging his deprived freedom of movement.

“Today at around 3.30PM, a total of 8 lawyers led by Hon. Asuman Basalirwa, who form part of Hon.Kyagulanyi’s legal team, visited him at his home in Magere. They in addition carried food items and essential commodities for the family, in supplement to the daily purchases.

We continue to maintain our preventive action and cover in the area, as we await the outcome of the writ of Habeas Corpus, before the High Court in Kampala,” said ASP Luke Owoyesigyire the

Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy PRO.

Bobi Wine rejected the 2021 election results citing that they were rigged.

Museveni polled 5,851,037 votes, representing 58.64% of the 9,978,093 valid votes.

Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine had of 3,475,298 votes (34.83%)
