John Katumba, a Makerere university fresh graduate has finally been nominated to stand for the presidency in the 2021 general elections.
Yesterday, the Electoral Commission rejected independent candidate, Katumba John for having no Tax identification Number (TIN) and failure to pay Shs20million required before nomination.
Katumba today presented the receipts of payment and all other requirements needed to stand for the presidency.
After being nominated, Katumba said that he will concentrate on fighting corruption, creating employment opportunities and empowering women.
This website understands that Katumba is the youngest contestant in this presidential race with just 24years.
