Institutions To Reopen For Finalist Students Pursuing Health Related Courses

National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has released guidelines to enable institutions of higher learning to reopen since their closure in March.

The reopening of institutions is coming after President Museveni approved the re-opening of institutions with final year students undertaking Health related training.

The finalists who will resume learning are those undertaking Bachelors level in Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, Midwifery, Dental Surgery, Pharmacy, Allied Medical professionals. Finalist post graduate students on health related programmes, post graduate students who are already qualified and finalists undertaking training at Diploma level will also resume learning.

All institutions of learning will gradually reopen while observing SOPs from the Ministry of Health.
