Police in Kitezi are hunting for Simon Samanya, a teacher by profession for allegedly hacking his wife, Viola Kakai to death. The deceased was a nurse, with International Hospital, Kampala.
Viola was cut into pieces Sunday morning in Kitezi.
It is alleged that the couple had a long standing domestic problem which according to police, local authorities had to intervene.
Deputy spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Area, Luke Owoyesigyire said, “As regards her death, statements from the neighbors have been recorded and body of the deceased person was conveyed to city mortuary Mulago for postmortem.”
In the same regard, police is also investigating the death of Sarah Namuwonge a 24 year old businesswoman renting at mama Nagawa’s house who shot by her boyfriend, a private security guard, killing her instantly.
This incident happened in Kigoma village, Bujuuko.
According to police, statements have been taken from neighbors of the deceased and they’re currently looking for the suspect who is on the room.
