KCCA Appoints Daniel Muhumuza as Acting Head of Public and Corporate Affairs

Daniel Muhumuza NuweAbine has been named at the acting head of Public and Corporate Affairs at KCCA will double as the Spokesperson for KCCA effective 7th July.

 NuweAbine’s key role is to drive and oversee KCCA’s Communications Policy in execution of all the Institution’s Corporate Communication and Media Relations, stakeholder engagements at various levels and the Institution’s brand voice.

Muhumuza takes over from Peter Kaujju, who was yesterday unveiled as the head of Communications at UMEME, the electricity distributor.

“Prior to this role, NuweAbine has been the substantive Supervisor for Guidelines and Public Awareness at KCCA for 4 years—a role in which he has provided oversight on community-based awareness and sensitization with a blend of creativity and strategic thinking to give an account of KCCA services, status of projects as well as building synergies with communities,”  KCCA’s statement read.

Recently,  President Museveni nominated people for key positions at the Authority where he also appointed Dorothy Kisaka as executive director.

Others  appointed include, Dr. Daniel Okello Ayen, as Director, Public Health and Environment, Ms. Sarah Kanyike, for Director Gender, Community Services and Ms. Grace Akullo, for Director, Human Resources and Administration
