Poverty Hits Pastors, Beg Government to Open Churches

1 Mins read

Pastors, priests, and Muslim clerics have been hit hard by the closure of their places of minting money and are asking Government to reopen churches and mosques.

Born again pastors are crying out to the Government to allow places of worship re-open and carry out religious activities.

The pastors say the believers are struggling with different challenges for which they need religious guidance. They also say many people who depend on the churches and other places of worship for their livelihood are also struggling.

However, in his last address to the nation, President Museveni made it clear that reopening of churches and other places of worship is still very risky and could lead to exposure to the Coronavirus.
