Frank Gashumba’s ‘Fire & Fury’ Show Launch Flops As Tamale Mirundi Fails To Show Up

1 Mins read

Mysterious tycoon, Frank Gashumba’s efforts of triumphantly launching his online political show on Monday hit a snag after his first guest, hot cake Tamale Mirundi snubbed.

The widely publicized show failed to live up to expectations after Mirundi, Uganda’s most sought after political commentator at the moment, was no show without any reason.

Mirundi has since been banned from appearing on radio and television stations where he kept viewers and listeners glued to his analysis of current affairs. He is however, trying to find footing, by trying out online platforms to keep his fire burning and defeat the ‘mafia gang’ as he describes those behind his woes.

“Tomorrow June 22, 2020 is the day Tamale Mirundi and I will start our new show at 3pm!” Gashumba posted on Sunday.

Tamale together with Gashumba, also a former regular on radio stations, had planned to launch their online show to discuss current affairs, according to Gashumba although Mirundi had made little mention of the same.

The show dubbed ‘Fire and Fury’ did little to light up patiently waiting audience with anti-mafia sentiment as had been predicted.

It is not clear why the former presidential spokesperson didnt show up.

Had he turned up, the show was billed to be explosive as the two share a nemesis in Buganda Kingdom Katikkiro, Charles Peter Mayiga and others.
