10 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed

The ministry of Health has confirmed 10 new COVID-19 cases.

9 new cases are truck drivers while 1 case is a contact to a confirmed truck driver.

Following a Presidential Directive of deducting all foreign truck drivers from Uganda’s case count, the confirmed COVID-19 cases now stand at 145.

11 foreign truck drivers were handed over to their country of origin.

As of now, the total foreign truck drivers handed over to their country of origin since the presidential directive are 124.

Today at total of 1,264 truck drivers were tested yesterday.
