Corona virus victim receiving treatment at a hospital

Uganda students in China have spoken out on their situation on social media under the hash tag #EvacuateUgandansfromWuhan in order to get the government’s attention. However all their efforts are still being ignored as the government claims they are safer there and they risk spreading the virus to others.

The students are living in fear in a city that is under lockdown so far from home as people are dropping dead on the streets, some of the infected are trying to infect others. The food supplies are also running out and staying inside all day is also very bad for their mental health.

Earlier this week there was a post stating that China was seeking High Courts’ approval to kill all the infected in order to control the spread of the virus. There are many cases of the virus that aren’t reported to medical centers so this doesn’t really seem like a solution to the virus.

The students have asked the government to let their families pay for their evacuation and keep them in quarantine until they are sure none of them is still sick. This has got a lot of attention from the general public however the government doesn’t seem to be planning to evacuate them soon. den0 \lsdunh
