However, News made round on social media that Kats had escaped from pastor Bugembe under poor health condition.
Addressing the media in Kampala on Wednesday, Bugembe said it’s not true that Kats escaped from his place.
“I can’t say that Kats is in prison at my home. What I did, I looked for the wife, mother and the father and I got them, so at my place I gave him a room and a car so where he wants to go he is free,” he said.
He said Kats is preparing for his concerts come 14th February where he should move out to oversee all the preparations for the success of his show.
“He has his nights, the coming concert, so the good thing is that I always encourage him to take his drugs. Sometimes I wake up in the morning I find when he is not around, sometimes when he is there,” he said.
He explained that the good thing is that his family is aware of what is happening around him and he can’t have control over his movements.
“The good thing is that his mother, father and wife are around him. His life routes about five things, he loves his wife, children, mother, father and his TV show Aftet5,” he said.
He also noted that Kats condition is improving gradually urging the public to pray for him.
