I am Gay, Afande Kerekere Comes Out About His Sexuality

1 Mins read

This no longer comes as a surprise as to why comedian and football and rugby referee George Mulindwa commonly known as Afande Kerekere was probably fired from Bukedde Television.

Fans and well wishers were all surprised when he came out about his being gay on Sunday in a post on Facebook from tha account ‘Out & Proud African LGBTI’.

Doning a shirt with the words ‘we exist’, Afande Kerekere confirmed that he was gay.

It should be remembered that recently President Museveni warned Western Powers against destroying African Culture by bringing their evil beliefs to Africa.

Also, the Uganda Anti-homosexuality Act, 2014 passed on 17th December 2013 mentions of a penalty life in prison for aggravated homosexuality.

Homosexuals still face a lot of discrimination in Uganda fuelled by culture and religion.
