Katikiro Mayiga Advises Men Not to be as Disrespectful to Women as Bugingo

1 Mins read

Addressing the Lukiiko yesterday, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga urged men to respect their wives/better halves especially in public. This comes a few days after Pastor Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries disrespected his wife before his flock.

“There are men I hear these days who disrespect their wives before the public, utter all the filthy statements about their wives and yet they should have acted exemplary to the society, it’s so absurd,” said Katikkiro Mayiga.

He also added that any man of sound mind should fight hard to protect the image of his wife before the public rather than shaming her and stripping her of her dignity.

“Don’t allow even a friend to disrespect your wife, if you are a man of dignity and integrity you can not allow such to happen to your wife,” Katikkiro Mayiga added.

As he criticized men, he also leaned forward and encouraged women to take control of their homes and love life. “A good family is not about giving birth to many children. Some women do not know how to cook, a right woman should observe all what is required of her,” he said.
