The National Resistance Movement leaders from Teso Sub-Region have joined their counterparts from other zones in the country in endorsing President Museveni’s sole candidature as the NRM Chairman and as the NRM Presidential Flag bearer in the forthcoming National Elections.
The NRM Vice Chairperson Eastern Region, Captain Michael Mukula, read the Presentation yesterday and the Kaberamaido NRM Chairperson, Mr. Charles Enepu, read the resolution.
NRM District Chairpersons, who seconded and endorsed the resolution, included Mr. Elasu Charles from Soroti District, Mr. Opolot Sam of Kumi District, Mr. Okello of Ngora, Mr. Olebe Micheal of Serere District, Mr. James Michel Ongole of Bukedea District, Mr. Isaac Okello Omiat of Amuria District, the NRM Chairperson of Kapelebyong District and Mr. Opio Richard of Katakwi District.
Other interest groups including women, youth, elderly and people with disabilities, also endorsed the President as National Chairman of NRM and sole candidate in the forthcoming general elections.
