Following the recent accidents involving Global Coaches along Mbarara Kampala road, customers have come up to express their dissatisfaction with the services being rendered.
Most customers are concerned by the drivers who overspeed hence causing accidents.
Below is a letter from one of the customers;
This company has been serving Ugandans in a manner that was unique and amazing.
People have been satisfied with the time management and quality services provided by this company.
However, there seems to be something bad going on in recent weeks.
About two weeks ago, I travelled to Mbarara with this very company.
There is this driver for registration number UBB 669U, in the names of Tusabe Lawrence (Driver).
He was literary flying on Masaka road, to Mbarara.
We tried to respectfully ask him to drive on reasonable speed but the fellow chose not to respond to anybody, in a silent but arrogant manner.
We decided to call management using numbers on the receipts they provide.
For close to an hour, nobody could pick any of those Numbers, but finally we managed to talk to the owner of the last number on those receipts who got our concern and promised to talk to the driver.
We kept observing for any communication to the driver either through a direct communication or through the bus conductor. Nothing happened!!
We called back and the guy assured us he had warned the driver and the driver would comply.
We were however sure there had been no communication to the driver and he didn’t surprise us at that moment.
The guy increased speed in a manner that brought total silence in the bus until we reached Masaka where the two of us were forced to voluntarily exit the bus.
Despite the fact that it was late in the night, we found it safe to leave that bus and rest until the next day.
Thank God the occupants who remained arrived Mbarara safely.
This was however not an isolated case.
Colleagues of mine who do shopping weekly from Mbarara have recently complained over the same.
Global coaches have been doing passengers a good service.
Management should help put everything back in order.
