Security officers have arrested two men suspected to be members of ADF for allegedly operating a terrorist cell in Kampala.
The Suspects identified as Andrew Sebitosi and another one only identified as Mwima are currently under ISO custody.
Police says their arrest came as a result of the murder of two Ugandan businessmen in Congo by an alleged ADF commander.
They said a one Meddie Nalubo cut off heads of these two businessmen and sent photos of their bodies to Uganda security agencies.
Police added that operating to wipe out any ADF operatives in the country has led to the arrest of Sebitosi and Mwima
Police explained that sources from security organs say that they are committed to completely wiping out the ADF from whenever they still operate in the country and confirmed that ADF is no longer a serious threat as it had been thought.
Police added that detectives are interrogating Mwima and Sebitosi in an attempt to find out more about their cells and operation with a view of mitigating them.
During the festive season, security agencies intercepted six bombs being carried by alleged ADF operatives upon arrest. They told officers that they had denounced subversive activities and were carrying these bombs as evidence.
