AIGP Asan Kasingye, Political Commissar of Uganda Police has praised officers for the good work done in promoting community policing by bringing police and Community together.
He said this in a meeting that was held of Friday 4th at Anderita Resort Beach Hotel in Entebbe.
Over 30 community Liaison officers (CLOs) drawn from Kampala Metropolitan region met to reflect the past years and also organize on how to approach 2019 in line with community policing.
AIGP Kasingye who was a chief guest praised the officers for the tremendous work in bringing the community and police together through community policing activities.
Afande Kasingye further urged the officers to work and perform better so as to improve the image of the force
Commissioner of police in charge of community, Kadijah Namutebi encouraged the officers to act in a professional way with integrity
She also warned the officers against engaging and involving in any act of indiscipline and corruption
