You Sent Useless MPs To Parliament — Museveni Tells Masaka People

1 Mins read

President Museveni has told the Masaka people that they sent useless MPs to parliament.

Hes aid this during the commissioning of the civil works for 41km Masaka-Bukakata road on Sunday 9th December 2018.

The road is from Nyendo junction in Masaka and goes eastwards to Bukakata on shores of Lake Victoria.

Construction of the roads will boast local trade and reduce transport costs.

While addressing the locals of Nyendo president Museveni told them that he didn’t have Nyendo road in mind because it is not among the big projects.

He said that this should be the work of area Members of Parliament but they only elect MPs who want to fight NRM and they end up wasting time even other programs end up being frustrated.

“The member of parliament you sent are useless, they are not representing you because I don’t know them, that’s why some of the issues that affect you are not taken care of,” he Said.

“The NRM don’t lie. We handle our things one at a time. We have to accomplish one thing and move on to the other. We are going to work on Nyendo road under a separate project.”

“We shall work on the other roads, what is remaining is up to you to send MPs that have a seat on the NRM parliamentary caucus unfortunately your MPs Namyanja and Mpuga don’t sit on that table.”

The ceremony was attended by Minister for agriculture Vincent Ssempijja, Minister for works and transport Monica Ntege, Executive Director UNRA, Allen Kagina among others
