Katikiro of Buganda Kingdom Charles Peter Mayiga was briefly stopped on his way to visit Kooki.
He was stopped for over 4 hours as police waited for clarification from the above.
It should be noted that Several police Mambas, water Cannons Teargas Cars were deployed along Masaka – Rakai road.
The army and police condoned and blocked him from leaving Hotel Brovad in Masaka where he had spent a night.
He was supposed to visit St Bernard secondary School where an incident of fire outbreak took place few weeks claiming the lives of over 10 students.
Charles Peter Mayiga was later allowed to visit Kooki after an agreement was reached with security officers led by Uganda police.
