1 Mins read

The family of the fallen Bobi Wine’s driver Yasin Kawuma has finally accepted the condolence message from president Museveni.

The condolence message came with Shs20million to help in paying fees and looking after Yasin Kawuma’s window.

Close family members of Bobi Wine’s driver on Sunday rejected the money President Museveni sent to them in a condolence message through singer Catherine Kusasira.

About Government giving the ghetto youths and the late Yasin Kawuma’s family money, Bobi Wine says that system of patronage is all Government knows.

Bobi Wine also visited the family of fallen driver and comrade Yasin Kawuma in Kiteezi, Lusanja in Kyadondo East Constituency.

Yasin Kawuma was killed in Arua while seated in Bobi Wine’s car on the day when Arua Municipality campaigns were coming to an end.

On the day of Kawuma’s death, several MPs including Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi were arrested, tortured and detained in different police and military cells.

They are currently facing treason charges as they heal from the wounds sustained.
