Woman Brutally Kills Husband, Buries Him in Their Marital Bedroom

Harriet Nassali, 38 has been arrested by Mattuga Police for allegedly murdering the husband and digging 3 feet grave in their matrimonial bedroom with intention of burying him there.

The terrible incident happened on 12th August 2018 at around 5am in Lwesuubo village, Buwambo Parish, Gombe Division Wakiso District.

It is believed that Nassali hacked her husband Sirajj Kawuma to death with a panga.

Killer, Nassali

After killing him she made efforts to dig a grave inside their master bedroom however was only able to dig as deep as 3 feet.

On realizing the complexity of her gruesome action, she decided to flee her home.

Her terrified 13-year-old child decided to alert the neighbours and narrated what had transpired thus immediately calling for police intervention.

One of the children disclosed to the detectives the information about a male friend who had grown so close to their mother days before their father was hacked to death.

The male friend identified as Alex Kamusangi then led a group of investigating officers to Nassali’s hideout and both were arrested.

Upon questioning the duo admitted to having had plans of eliminating the deceased so that they could blossom in their new love affair.

Brutally Killed; Sirajj Kawuma

Further inquiries reveal that the deceased and his wife previously had misunderstandings as a result of a land procurement deal gone bad resulting into their separation.

Close family friends revealed the bitter history of how the deceased had given his wife Nassali Shs27million to buy a plot of land however she used the money for other purposes sparking off the misunderstandings.

The deceased’s body has since been transported to Mulago Mortuary for postmortem and the two suspects detained at Mattuga Police Station vide 08/12/08/2018 as investigations are ongoing.
