The Uganda Women in Maternal AID in collaboration with British School of Kampala and the Rotary Club of Kisugu, yesterday donated maternal equipment to Kisugu Health Centre.
The donated maternal equipment include; beds, mattresses, delivery forceps, sterilizing drums and many more.
Most Health Centres in Kampala and the rest of the country are under supplied with medical equipment and the intervention of such support organisations was welcomed by hospital management.
Kisugu Health Centre delivers on average 250 mothers a month but most of these have been delivering in poor health conditions.
