Patrick Oloka, a resident of Kisugu, a Kampala suburb has reportedly been impersonating the IGP’s son and has conned several Police officers claiming that he will help them get promotions.

He was however arrested after one of the victims got to know that he is not Okoth Ochola’s son.

The victim later opened a criminal case at CID headquarters Kibuli and investigations led to his arrest.

While recording statements, conned police officers revealed that they were fleeced money in the range of Shs300,000 to Shs500, 000 and also some gifts to the IGP were requested.

One of the victims said that he gave Oloka gifts to take to the IGP and after some days, he said that the IGP had appreciated the gifts and soon a promotion would be executed in his favour.
