Museveni Strikes Deal With Chinese to Manufacture Sanitary Pads

President Museveni is almost fulfilling his government promise of providing sanitary pads to school children.

Yesterday, president Museveni met officials from Goodluck Sanitary Cleaning Company and a deal was agreed to set up a factory in Uganda that will be producing affordable and quality sanitary pads.

Mr. Liu Wei the Chief Executive Officer of Goodluck Sanitary Cleaning Company revealed that they will also make dippers.

Goodluck Sanitary Cleaning Company will establish its factory in Mbale Industrial Park, Eastern Uganda.

President Museveni also met Mr. Lui Hao of Pauway Energy Tech Company whose enterprise manufactures generators, water pumps and solar cables.

President Museveni later met with Mr. Lin Ruihui, representative of another Chinese enterprise called Ginko Energy Company, which wishes to revive production of copper at the Kilembe Copper Mines in Western Uganda
