Godfrey Wamala famously known as Troy, has been taken to Entebbe Magistrate’s court and faces murder charges.
Troy was recently arrested by Police and it was found out that he was staying at a friend’s place one Henry in Kyengera who advised him how unhealthy and unwise it was to keep in hiding.
It is believed that on the fateful day of 22nd January 2018 Troy assaulted Mowzey at De Bar in Entebbe.
Mowzey later died last Thursday at Case Clinic, a death that paralyzed thousands of music lovers across Uganda, East Africa and the entire world.
Troy denied beating Mowzey, according to his statement at police, he told police that Mowzey was attacked by unknown people, who dragged him out of the bar and that he only found him lying down.
