Two Nabbed For Stealing Gun from Busega Police Post

John Kagwa and Nsambaga Ngasasa were yesterday arrested by flying squad on allegations of attempted murder and Gun stealing.

It is believed that Flying squad was tipped off by citizens that saw two people riding on a motorcycle with a gun at around Clock tower.

Flying squad swung into action and the suspects were arrested.

Upon arrest, it was discovered that the gun they had, had been stolen from Busega Police post sometime back.

This website understands that; in a report released Monday by the Flying Squad Commander ACP Herbert Muhangi, several guns and bullets were recovered during last year’s operations.

The guns include 30 SMG AK 47 with 413 rounds of ammunition, 06 SAR with 09 rounds of ammunition, 06 pistols with 46 round of ammunition’s, 02 LMG/PK with no ammunition.

Other guns included 01 SK with 25 rounds of ammunition, 02 Pump Action with 01 ammunition, 03 RPG Fuses, 01 MAS and other 141 sticks and 238 drilling beats of explosives.

The report revealed that the recovered guns were used in robberies and murders.

The guns were used by UPDF, Police officers and others by serial killers who have been conniving with security operatives to commit different crimes.
