Red Pepper Bosses Sent To Luzira

5 Red Pepper Bosses and 3 Editors of The Pepper Publications limited have been charged with Offensive Communication, Publication of Information Prejudicial to security and disturbing the peace of President Museveni, Gen Henry Tumukunde and Gen Salim Saleh.

The bosses that appeared before Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court are; CEO, Richard Tusiime, Arinaitwe Rugyendo who is the CMO, Patrick Mugumya the COO, James Mujuni, the CCO and Muzinguzi Byarabaha the CFO.

The Red Pepper Editors included Ben Byarabaha, Richard Kintu and Francis Tumusiime.

There was no mention of Treason, which was initially included on the Charge and Caution Statements that the suspects were made to sign last week.

The suspects have been held at the notorious and highly guarded Nalufenya Police since Tuesday last week after running a story on November 20th suggesting that President Yoweri Museveni was planning to overthrow the President Kagame of Rwanda.

Chief Magistrate Ereemye Mawanda Adjourned court to December 05, when their bail application will be heard.
